Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to
provide high-quality patient care - Knowledge of cardiac procedures
and interventions - Experience with patient monitoring and
emergency medications Description: Cath Lab RN position available
for day shifts. Call requirements are roughly 9 days of call per
month, with weekday call starting at 15:30 and weekend call being
24 hours. The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of prior
experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
settings. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. First-time
travelers are accepted. Skills required include Rotablator
atherectomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR),
Pulmonary Angiography, and Angioplasty among others. The role
involves monitoring and managing procedural sedation, infection
prevention, and interpreting dysrhythmias. Candidates should be
comfortable with various procedures, such as IABP
Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, and PCI. Additional
experience in cardiac stent placement, left and right heart
catheterizations is preferred. Candidates must possess knowledge of
emergency medications and provide effective patient care during
procedures. The unit supports interdisciplinary care, including
collaboration with specialized teams and services. A commitment to
maintaining high standards and patient safety is essential.
