The firm enjoys an employee retention rate that is higher than the industry and state averages-an indicator of our attractive employee culture and competitive employee benefits package and employee ownership opportunities.The Section-125 Billing & Eligibility Administrator is responsible for various administration items to service our section-125 clients.Essential Tasks:

  • Set up new clients in the system
  • Enter/process participant enrollments, changes and terminations on a timely basis
  • Obtain BAA and FSA and/or HRA FSA Service Agreements from client as well as provide Employer Admin Access
  • Send reminder notifications to clients/AM's/Brokers for FSA renewals monthly
  • Account reconciliation to make sure money received vs money disbursed matches and if not invoice for the variance for all plan year end close outs.
  • Process weekly Benefits in Hand Report, SFPT files, and Benefits Hub reports for groups that use those formats for communicating changes/enrollments/terminations
  • Process Semi-monthly and monthly invoices and send to client
  • Post all payments to QB's and to the client's spreadsheet as they are received
  • Process ACH payments in Chase for those companies that allow us to auto-draft from their bank account
  • Follow-up with clients who are late in making payments (for those not set up on auto-draft)
  • Email specified clients their FSA Admin invoices and auto-draft those who have requested us to do that
  • Answer emails/phone calls for billing and client questions relating to FSA, forward participant calls/emails to customer service
  • Process paybacks in Chase for participants who need to pay their plan backsExperience and Education
    • High School Diploma or Associates Degree
    • Previous benefits or claims experience preferred
    • ECFC certified or willingness to obtain certification (paid for by Higginbotham)Perks & Benefits:
