All current and newly hired employees are required to follow onsite safety measures based upon the COVID-19 Community Level at the specific work location.Description:Performs one or more manufacturing planning activities within various manufacturing functions. Responsibilities include: Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule. Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes. Coordinates with Engineering and Change Board to make the associated changes to the BOM. Potentially requires travel and/or communication to all production sites and vendor locations. Work outside of the normal operating hours may be requiredBasic Qualifications:Ability to obtain a security clearance Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, a represented workforce and internal and external customers MRP / ERP experience SAP knowledge/experience Must be able to work outside of the normal operating hours, as requiredDesired Skills:Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS) Inventory Control and material handling knowledge Black Belt trained / certified Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
