POSITION SUMMARYThe Staff Accountant performs a variety of accounting tasks to support the decision making responsibilities of the District. Principal areas of focus will include fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, account reconciliations and month-end close processes.POSITION SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*Reports To: *Controller*Supervises: *NonePOSITION REQUIREMENTSMinimum EducationDegree in accounting or finance.Minimum Work ExperienceTwo or more years of experience in accounting or finance.Required Licenses/CertificationsNoneRequired Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesCritical thinking skills, analytical abilities, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Preferred QualificationMasters DegreePreferred Work ExperienceExperience with fixed asset accounting.
