The type of roles we normally recruit for include: Front End Collections Representative " In this role you will be demonstrating effective methods of ensuring NMACs profitability and portfolio strength by reducing delinquency, collect on delinquent payments from lease or retail customers that are 5-29 days past due, and effectively handle in- and outbound calls while contributing to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth. Mid Stage Collections Representative " In this role you will be responsible for negotiating resolutions for accounts that are 30-59 days past due. Also for providing customer service by adhering to a ten-step call plan and by demonstrating NMAC/IFS Core Values while contributing to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth. You will also be responsible for making a standard number of outgoing phone calls on delinquent accounts while staying available for incoming phone calls. Resolve delinquencies by negotiating payment arrangements that will benefit both NMAC/IFS and customer. Research and resolve customer disputes. Late Stage Collections Representative " In this role you will be responsible for negotiating resolutions for accounts that are 60-89 days past due, providing customer service by adhering to a ten-step call plan and by demonstrating NMAC/IFS Core Values while contributing to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth. You will also be responsible for maintaining standard delinquency percentages, clearance ratios and repossession ratios for individual portfolios, thereby achieving standard scores on Quality Assurance phone monitors. Locates valid phone numbers and addresses for displaced customers through skip tracing. Loss Recovery Representative " In this role you will be responsible for being knowledgeable of laws that regulate the automotive collection industry; such as, FDCPA, GLB, FCRA, FACTA, Federal Bankruptcy Laws, IRS 1099-C Regulations, federal and state repossession and collection laws. You will also be responsible for the mastery of inbound/outbound call activities and queue management, possess strong negotiation, excellent communication, planning, organizational and follow-up skills. Minimum Qualifications: Job Knowledge and Skill - Level of understanding of auto finance and collections sufficient to administer accounts that have insurance deficiency issues and/or are delinquent. Must be able to diagnose situations and apply appropriate collection tools while adhering to all Federal and State regulations as well as company policy. Good oral / written communications, listening and interpersonal skills. Good conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Good organization and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to take a responsive customer service approach to work activities. Experience - Two or more years of Collections experience preferably in an automotive finance industry or one year experience in NMAC Consumer Communications. Education - High school diploma required; BA degree preferred. Computer Usage - Requires working knowledge of word processor, and other related PC applications, etc. to access and analyze data in multiple products and screens.
