As a member of the Digital department, you help maintain a robust
monthly reporting calendar to provide insights on performance and
assist in digital projects inclusive of media planning, CRM
strategy, email marketing, content marketing, analytics and more.
In addition, you will gain experience across a variety of
industries, with an emphasis on Schaefer's key verticals -
Healthcare, Real Estate, and Destination/Entertainment.

internship begins on January 10 and will last for approximately 16
weeks. We require 15-20 hours per week and expect 3 days or more in
office. We are not offering remote internships at this time. We

What should you expect?
Not all internships are created equal. At Schaefer Advertising, our
interns get the opportunity to work on real client projects, gain
real-world knowledge and be mentored by some of the industry's
best. Our goal is to help provide our interns with an immersive
agency experience that will help them build a foundation as they
get ready to enter their first advertising job. And if you're a
rockstar and the stars align, that first advertising job could be
on the Schaefer team.
What do we expect out of you?
Long gone are the days of interns fetching coffee or just taking
meeting recap notes. Our expectation is for you to be an active
member of our team. That means you will be asked to own projects,
have a point-of-view, meet deadlines and join in on all of the
nitty-gritty of our day-to-day work.
Due to COVID-19, we are in a fluid situation. We believe being able
to work in the office is important to the success of the intern.
Additionally, at Schaefer, the safety and well-being of all our
employees, including interns, is of utmost importance. As such, it
is possible that we may need to modify or even cancel internships
based on the outcomes of the Covid-19 pandemic. And, while not
optimal, it is possible that all or a part of your internship will
be working remotely.
The Media intern will assist with campaign strategy, builds,
maintenance and optimizations across all paid media platforms and
agency verticals. The Media intern will be responsible for and gain
exposure to things such as:
Campaign building and maintenance in paid search, paid social and
programmatic display platforms.
Platform familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics,
Google Ads, SEMRush and other media planning resources.
Managing digital spend and pacing across all clients/campaigns.
Campaign maintenance and review to provide strategic insights and
Keyword research and list development.
Audience building across various paid media platforms.
UTM creation and implementation for upcoming campaigns.
3.25 cumulative GPA or higher
Advertising/Marketing or similar field of study
Experience in Google Ads or Facebook Business Manager preferred
Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week for 16 weeks. Must
be available to work in the office, ideally 3 or more days per
Rising junior or senior, or recently graduated
Course experience in digital marketing, analytics, media planning,
or similar curriculum
You must sign a confidentiality agreement
You must have a valid driver's license
