Job Description Job Description Make Ready Tech - Denton, TX Job Summary: As a Make Ready Tech, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously prepare rental units for occupancy, ensuring they not only meet but exceed the established quality standards. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our tenants, contributing to their overall satisfaction and comfort. Duties/Responsibilities: Carry out general handyman and repair technician duties as required. Ensure prompt and accurate completion of service orders. Perform Make Ready tasks to ready units for new tenants. Conduct move-in/move-out orientations for new tenants. Assist in addressing punch list items as instructed. Aid in building activities per Manager's directives. Manage cleaning tasks, pressure washing, make ready's, warranty calls, and vendor meeting coordination. Walk and clean the common grounds, entrance, models / leasing office, picking up trash, cleaning the amenities area, replacing the trash bags from trash cans. Provide backup to groundskeeper duties and pool maintenance, including cleaning and upkeep of pool, clubhouse and common area amenities The above listing represents the general duties considered essential functions of the job and is not to be considered a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in maintenance or related field. Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and tools. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication in English. Essential Functions: Reliable transportation that meets job responsibilities. Valid Texas Driver's License. Maintain at least minimum car insurance required by Texas law. Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, and after hours as requested. Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device. Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills. Lift or move items up to 50 pounds. Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.
