Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Property
Service Technician helps assist Facilities department to inspect,
repair, install, modify, and maintain Facilities systems, circuits,
and equipment. Ability to perform basic repairs such as paint,
drywall, carpentry repair, equipment assembly and landscaping. They
perform custodian duties and other miscellaneous duties to ensure
that facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary
manner. This is an experienced-level position with no direct
reports that reports to the Facilities Supervisor. ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Maintain the appearance and safe
working conditions of the facility and surrounding areas. Utilize
tools and materials used in Facilities Maintenance. Move furniture
within the facility. Painting throughout the facility. Walls,
Floors, signs, etc. Repairs to the facility. Landscaping and snow/
ice removal Helps Maintain locks and update locks for the facility.
Assists with stripping and waxing floors and other tasks as needed.
Reports needed maintenance repairs to the Supervisor. Ensures
facility equipment and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly
manner. Assumes responsibility for elated duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent. 2
years of experience as a Facilities Technician or similar Must have
own basic repair tools Must be able to read, speak and understand
Standard English for receiving instructions, relaying job-related
information and reading chemical labels. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a construction trade field Forklift, Scissor lift,
boom lift experience. SUCCESS FACTORS/JOB COMPETENCIES : Must be
honest and trustworthy. Must demonstrate sound work ethics.
Attentive to detail. Able to follow directions and work well
independently. Ability to work weekends and evenings if needed.
Must be able to adhere to all established safety policies,
processes and procedures. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in
indoor and outdoor settings. The indoor settings include office,
restroom, kitchen and warehouse environments which require the use
of cleaning supplies and hand tools. The outdoor settings include
parking lots and driveways. Occasionally subject to varying inside
and/or outside temperatures, which may include extreme heat
(temperatures above 100 degrees) or extreme cold (temperatures
below 32 degrees). The noise level in the work environment is
occasionally loud. While performing the duties of this job, the
employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving
mechanical parts and vibration. The employee may be occasionally
exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The
physical demands described here are representative of those that
must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential

regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required use
the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up
small objects, or pinching fingers together. The employee is

kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Medium work; exerts up
to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently,
and 10 lbs. constantly. Specific vision abilities required by this
job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
