Representative Job Summary: The Policy Service/Customer Service
Representative will interact with the companys customers by
addressing inquiries and resolving concerns. Duties/
Responsibilities: Respond to incoming calls, mail and e-mails from
policyholders, field force and home office staff Address topics
including policy provisions; company procedures; requirements for
processing policy changes, conversions, reinstatements, and
exchanges Use knowledge of company products, policies, and
procedures to handle policyholder complaints/problems and ensures
that problems are resolved, and action steps are communicated
clearly to the policyholder Process policy values, policy changes
and death benefit claims Maintain customer accounts and records of
customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or
comments Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills
including active listening Service-oriented, detail-oriented, good
organization Basic computer skills with ability to learn new
software Good math aptitude Education and Experience: High school
diploma or equivalent Customer service experience required Fluent
in English and Spanish, a plus Physical Requirements: Prolonged
periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Schedule and
Salary Range: Full-time position Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m.
4:45 p.m. Friday: 8:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. Salary Range: $35,000 -
$50,000 annually
