Network Engineer- REMOTE

6+ Month Contract

Minneapolis, MN

Looking for a Network Engineer to help deploy, manage and maintain network services across data center and cloud environments. The engineer will work with other engineers to implement, manage and support areas to include: Data Center LAN, WAN, Load balancer monitoring and cloud based computing solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years information technology experience in networking and a bachelors degree or 10+ years of the same experience without a bachelors degree
• Prior experience supporting networks with more than 2000 devices
• Prior experience with Cisco technologies and solutions including Nexus 9000/7000/6000/5000/2000, fixed configuration switches, and Cisco ASR series routers
• Prior experience with Load Balancers (Local & Global, Citrix and F5 preferred)
• Routing Protocol knowledge (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Prior experience managing WAN based connections (MPLS & Internet preferred)
• Prior experience with network monitoring and packet capturing solutions
• Prior experience with the DNS/DHCP (Infoblox preferred)
• Prior experience with common network scripting programming languages
• Prior experience with common automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef
• Prior experience with API integrations
• Prior experience with Cisco Client support for both RADIUS/TACACS
• Experience with Cisco ACI
• Experience managing partner and vendor relationships to achieve business outcomes
• Prior experience with PCI / HITRUST
• Prior experience in a global enterprise
