position will need to be strong team player with excellent
communication and documentation skills who is driven to make sure
that the small details are accounted for every day and who finds
satisfaction in being a first responder to a wide variety of
network and security-related events. This person must have a
passion to "figure things out" and not give up when confronted with
a challenge. This person will be working closely with the
Technology Infrastructure and Security Teams at Allied, the person
in this role is expected to ensure that the systems and goals of
the Technology team are maintained over time. Primary Duties and
Responsibilities Implement, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and
evaluate existing and new infrastructure regarding LAN, WAN, WAN
Optimization, Wi-Fi, load balancing, switching, routing, VOIP and
SIP trunks Configure, install, and support Cisco routers, switches,
access points Senior level experience configuring routing protocols
and other network technologies such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, SSL
VPN, IPSEC, GRE, L2TPv3, NAT/PAT, PPP, MPLS, QoS, STP, HSRP, VTP,
VPC, VDC, OTV, Ether channel, WAN Acceleration, IPv4, IPv6 Support
Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, threat prevention, URL filtering, and
Wildfire Maintain and monitor Palo Alto Panorama Central Management
system Incident troubleshooting and resolution, including
documentation of root cause analysis Business continuity/Disaster
recovery planning and testing Design and document end-to-end
networking and application data flow Ensure adherence to PCI DSS
Program, IT standards and best practices, policies, and procedures
Monitor all equipment using Solarwinds, NAC Administration and SNMP
Network management Assist other team members who are involved in
diagnosing and correcting system related failures Create and test
security measures (e.g., access, authentication, and disaster
recovery). Knowledge of F5 load balancing technologies (LTM, GTM
and ASM) Develop ways to integrate and grow the network and
connectivity Understand and maintain Infrastructure as a Service
(IaaS) Communicate with users and external customers when needed
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation Perform any other related
duties as assigned by the manager Education, Experience,
Certifications, and Training Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; or
equivalent combination of education and experience 10 + years'
experience with Cisco Routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless
infrastructure required CCNA or CCNP required Palo Alto Networks
Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) desirable Experience
with the following Technologies/Methodologies preferred Experience
with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) F5 LTM, GTM, ASM
deployment a plus Cisco Prime Infrastructure configuration and
support Data Center design, configuration, support of
Nexus/Catalyst architecture SD-WAN implementation, support
experience CCNP for Routing and Switching Cisco Call Manager VMWare
experience - setup, administration, troubleshooting and performance
tuning General scripting knowledge Industry Certifications
(Security+, Network+, Linux+, ACE, MTA/MCSA/MCSE, etc.) Equal
