Job Description:
The Industrial Engineer will be accountable for the collection
and analysis of operational data including reviewing existing
processes and systems; making recommendations for improvements in
the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost; and continuous
improvement project leadership. Analyzes facilities and equipment
and makes recommendations to establish the most efficient flow of
work.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Collects and analyzes operations data to aid in the review of
existing processes and systems and to measure continuous
improvement initiatives.
Utilizing Industrial Engineering expertise, review existing
processes and systems and make recommendations supported by
data/analysis for improvements in the areas of safety, quality,
delivery, and cost.
Provide leadership as it relates to implementing continuous
improvement initiatives including project planning, management,
measuring and ongoing monitoring.
Analyze Distribution facilities and equipment and recommend
designs, plans and layouts to establish the most efficient flow of
work. Provide project leadership as it relates to
recommendations.
Analyze Value-added operations including circular assembly,
de-reel, and others and implement cycle time and efficiency process
improvements.
Perform other assignments/projects as directed by manager.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering required. Work or
internship experience is highly desired in a related industry.
Experience with ISO, Warehouse Management Systems and Automated
Material Handling Systems a definite plus.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
This position requires use of information or access to hardware
which is subject to the international Traffic in Arms Regulations
