Job Description:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Network Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas (TX).

Responsibilities include:

• Effectively plans, designs, configures, and deploys local area networks (LANs), wireless local area networks (WLANs), wide area networks (WANs), and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) to ensure the stability of voice, data, video, and wireless network services
  
• Configures networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes
  
• Network Engineer benchmarks, analyzes, reports on, and makes recommendations for the improvement on voice, data, and wireless network services
  
• Works with stakeholders to define network requirements for new technology implementations
  
• Develops business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
  
• Collaborates with Systems Engineers to determine connectivity requirements
  
• Collaborates with executive management and department leaders to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs
  
• Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, and processes
  
• Network Engineer conducts research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry
  
• Interacts and negotiates with vendors, outsourcers, contractors to secure network products and services
  
• Assists the Network Administration team with tasks and troubleshooting related to store network connectivity
