Job Description Job Description Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring over 20 Electrical and Mechanical Refurbishment Technicians in Mabank, Texas. As an Electrical or Mechanical Refurbishment Technician you will : Teardown and rebuilding of turbine engines Mechanical will entail turning wrenches to assemble and disassemble equipment and industrial equipment, installations of mechanical parts and components Electrical will assist with cabling, wiring, testing, assembly and sub-assembly; build up consoles which include PLC’s, input/output modules, power supplies, terminal strips and other electrical devices This is a full-time temp to hire opportunity. Schedule: Monday – Friday 5am – 1:30pm or 1pm – 9:45pm. Both shifts offer LOTS of overtime and Saturday work. The ideal candidate will have: 1 - 2 years of recent mechanical or electrical skills Ideal experience for Mechanical side but not required: experience working as a diesel mechanical or auto mechanic, aviation mechanic or any type of mechanical role where you had to turn wrenches all day. Ideal experience for Electrical side but not required: experience as an electrician helper, certificates in electrical or electrical assembly with wiring or cabling Good interpersonal and communication skills. Can-do attitude. Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background and drug screen Pay Rate*: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
