McLane Company, a leader in the grocery and foodservice supply chain solutions, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician I to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our machinery and equipment, playing a critical role in maintaining the seamless operation of our distribution centers. If you are a detail-oriented technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently. Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues in industrial and warehouse equipment including conveyors, forklifts, and other machinery. Assist in the installation of new plant equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and materials used. Follow safety regulations and standards at all times, participating in safety trainings and meetings. Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to optimize maintenance procedures. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Effective problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification or degree from a vocational school or college in mechanical or electrical engineering is an advantage. OSHA Safety certification is beneficial.
