Job Description Our vision is to transform how the world uses
information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world
leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate
the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the
world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Our
vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich
life for all. Join an inclusive team passionate about one thing:
using their expertise in the relentless pursuit of innovation for
customers and partners. The solutions we build help make everything
from virtual reality experiences to breakthroughs in neural
networks possible. We do it all while committing to integrity,
sustainability, and giving back to our communities. Because doing
so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing. As a SoC Design
Verification Engineer in the Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG),
you will be responsible for verifying complex HBM SoC logic/base
die designs from block through full?chip level. You will work
closely with the architecture, RTL design, physical design,
firmware, and product teams to ensure the functional correctness,
performance, and robustness of next-generation HBM products. This
role emphasizes system?level thinking, verification methodology,
and ownership of functional quality, leading to first?pass silicon
success. Key Responsibilities - Develop and complete verification
plans for SoC?level and subsystem builds based on architectural and
micro?architectural specifications. - Develop verification
components including UVM agents, scoreboards, checkers, assertions,
and coverage models. - Drive functional coverage closure, ensuring
thorough validation of features, corner cases, and error scenarios.
- Verify complex IP integrations (e.g., controllers,
microcontrollers, NOC, interfaces, MBIST/DFT logic, RAS, adapters,
buffers). - Collaborate with RTL designers to debug and resolve
functional issues efficiently in simulation and emulation. -
Participate in SoC?level integration verification, including reset,
clocking, power management, configuration, and coherency scenarios.
- Leverage hardware emulation/acceleration platforms to enable
scalable verification and early firmware bring?up. - Support
post?silicon validation and debug, correlating silicon issues with
pre?silicon verification results. Required Qualifications - Minimum
10 years of experience with a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in
electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. -
Strong experience in SoC or IP?level design verification. -
Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM, including constrained-random
stimulus, assertions (SVA), and verification guided by coverage
metrics. - Solid understanding of SoC architectures, including bus
fabrics/NOCs, memory?mapped interfaces, interrupts, and
configuration flows. - Experience debugging complex functional
issues across RTL, testbench, and system?level interactions. -
Familiarity with industry EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and/or
Siemens. - Experience with scripting or automation using Python,
Perl, TCL, or shell. Preferred Qualifications - Experience
verifying HBM, DRAM, or memory?centric SoCs. - Exposure to hardware
emulation or acceleration platforms (e.g., Palladium, Veloce,
Zebu). - Familiarity with DFT/MBIST concepts and their impact on
verification. - Experience with power?aware verification concepts
(e.g., UPF?based scenarios). - Knowledge of industry standards such
as JEDEC. The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates
