will be responsible for performing Structural testing of Wheel and
Brake components for ensuring products meet engineering and
customer specifications. This is a unique opportunity to work with
finest structural engineering laboratory and make a significant
impact in the aerospace industry. We are looking for a dynamic and
experienced individual who has a strong background in
instrumenting, testing, and completing structural testing of
complex mechanical equipment. What You Will Do Instrumentation :
Installation of Strain Gauges and other sensors for structural
engineering Applying, wiring, and trouble-shooting strain gauges,
load or displacement transducers, pressure transducers, and DC
electronics Interpret instrumentation and component drawings of
wheel and brake and prepare test articles according to the test
requests and drawings Data acquisition: Configure and program DAQ
equipment, troubleshoot signal noise, and ensure sensors are
functioning properly before testing. Knowledge and expertise in ¼
bridge strain gages, full bridge components & DC voltage signals.
Calibration of the signals for data acquisition system. Testing and
Data Processing : Conduct structural, fatigue, or overload tests
according to engineering or customer specifications. Perform bolt
preload test and torque tension tests as per industry
standard/norms. Record and analyze test data, generate test reports
to support engineers and project team Maintain Test Equipment and
safe work practice: Calibrate and maintain testing equipment and
tools to ensure compliance with quality standards. Adhere to safety
protocols, including the handling of electrical, mechanical,
chemical materials including hazardous items for managing the
laboratory safely. Support Business and Projects : Visit suppliers
and outside testing laboratories for supporting projects and ensure
quality of the deliverables and work. Communicate project progress,
status, and future needs of the Laboratory to the Management for
supporting projects and ensuring efficiency of the laboratory Stay
updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to
contribute to the development of innovative testing methods Prepare
purchase requisition on SAP system Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high
school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Experience in strain gauge application techniques, soldering, and
troubleshooting instrumentation. Experience with data acquisition
systems, measurement tools, and calibration techniques Experience
using calipers, depth gauges, and micrometers Experience in
installing delicate sensors and preparing test articles Experience
Reading engineering drawings and/or test plans. Qualifications We
Prefer Experience in Aerospace or Automotive sectors or established
laboratory in structural engineering Experience with LabVIEW,
MC911, Pacific Instruments Systems 6000, Tekscan, NI DAQ, System
8000 Strainsmart, 2D Laser System, SG Links 200, or similar

53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith
estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers
