Are you a tenured, proven Sales Manager with the ability for maximizing talent and surpassing goals?--Are you a problem-solving, team focused, client servicing leader that wants to be a part of a fast-paced sales environment and company growth story?--If this explains who you are and what you can contribute, Blend Supply wants to talk to you about a great opportunity.The RSM plans, manages, oversees, and directs the team's activities for meeting and exceeding Blend's performance.--In coordination with Blend's corporate goals and vision, the RSM works with the Leadership Team in formulating and facilitating sales training, GTM Strategy, and AE territories, roles and responsibilities. --They achieve this by identifying process improvements, employee specific training, recognizing and tracking KPIs, and overall managing the field sales team. This requires spending time with Account Executives across the Central and Eastern United States, and regular, overnight travel for coaching and training.----ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.Leads team by example in tirelessly pursuing excellence, customer-oriented solutions, and growing our customer base.Provides direction for outside sales, including product focus, coaching, training (both product and sales), uncovering leads and prospecting information.Works with team, both in-person and through phone/Skype, regularly for sales, prospecting, lead generation, appointment generation, strategies, and techniques.--This includes role playing, training videos and/or questions, and more for maximizing effect.Plans, Assigns, and Monitors performance by setting and tracking KPIs, holding team members accountable, and building trust with a supportive yet competitive team.Ensures proper territory management focusing on growing current accounts and finding and closing new accounts.Utilizes CRM and other tools, for planning, tracking, and projecting sales, business development and opportunities.Participates when needed in the handling of escalated customer needs or requirements.--Vigorously works with the team member for developing solution-minded problem-solving ideas for the customer.Acts as a conduit of information and a touchpoint for field personnel with Blend's corporate office, vision, and mission.Works collaboratively with Directors and other Departments for maximizing opportunities, efficiencies, and fulfilling customer needs with excellence.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsCOMPETENCIES:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:LeadershipInspires and motivates others to perform well; effectively influences actions and opinions of others; accepts feedback from others; gives appropriate recognition to others; exhibits confidence in self and others.--TeamworkBalances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests; able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; supports everyone's efforts to succeed.Problem SolvingIdentifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.Business AcumenUnderstands business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability; demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; aligns work with strategic goals.Customer ServiceManages difficult or emotional customer situations by relating; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.--BUSINESS RELATED CONTACTS:----Paint Shop Owners----Manufacturing and Fabrication Business Owners/Supervisors/Managers----Purchasing RepresentativesQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:BS/BA preferred, Associates Degree or similar, Advanced course work or MBA a plus. Minimum Eight Years in Sales; preferably industrial, coatings, or aerospace industry or similar distribution model.--History of high praise in annual reviews. President Club or similar winner a plus.Minimum four years managing a sales team with track record of continued improvement.Show of work performance that continually grows in responsibility. Product launch, high rate of converting customers, leveraging product for sales of other products in portfolio, solution selling, value selling, all a plus. OFFICE, REGIONAL BASE and TRAVEL:This role requires a good amount of travel, often over 60% of the time. This allows plenty of time with Account Executives in the field for coaching, training, and assistance in closing large deals.--When not in the field with AEs, it is the expectation that this person work from Blend's home office Headquarters in Fort Worth.--Thus, the successful candidate will most likely reside in the Fort Worth regional area.
