Company: Engineering / Architectural Services, Ft Worth, TX Remarks: Company is currently seeking a Transportation Engineering Leader for their Texas Operations. The candidate will be responsible for developing business strategies, maintaining existing client relationships, developing new clients and business and overseeing a wide range of civil/highway/bridge transportation projects across the state. The successful candidate will have a diverse background with extensive experience and capable of leading business development activities for a wide variety of transportation related clients. Experience managing transportation projects across a variety of delivery methods is preferred, to include design, design-build, CMGC and P3.-- Basic Responsibilities

• Identifies and markets business opportunities with key clients including TxDOT and various other transportation agencies.
• Develops and enhances key client relationships and serve as one of the primary company contacts.
• Secures and manages the profitable operation of multiple projects or major transportation projects.
• Overall responsibility for all aspects of the project including scope development, contract negotiations, safety and quality control.
• Serves as a technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles and processes as it relates to the transportation industry.
• Support Market Sector leaders in developing and executing Market Sector strategy for sales and marketing.
• Work with staff in defining and executing work in a quality manner that promotes improving presence/footprint in the market place. Increasing market share.--
• Provides the mentorship, coaching and quality oversight of both the pursuit and execution of transportation projects.--
• Support the management and delivery of quality transportation projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client Basic Qualifications
  • B.S. Civil Engineering or related field is required
  • 20 plus years of experience in business development, design, management and implementation of highway/roadway/bridge/civil engineering transportation projects
  • Extensive business development, project/program management, and client engagement with key TxDOT entities, other agency clients and various other local public agencies and contractors.--
  • Licensed TX Professional Engineer required
  • Active in professional and technical organization; participating in professional societies.--
  • Strong relationships with TxDOT
  • Proven leadership and demonstrated technical excellence in planning, organization, control, integration and completion of transportation related projects.--
