Senior Director of Human Resources Role:
You will assist in maximizing organizational effectiveness and
performance, and be able to handle a wide scope of complicated
matters in a fast-paced and growing environment. You will build
strong partnerships with leaders and management to ensure that HR
strategies, processes and practices align with the company' s
business needs and overall goals.
You will be a doer in this role, as well as lead a team of
doers.
The person in this role will anticipate needs, evaluate the impact
and consider this before moving forward, but will get it done in a
timely manner.
Provide leadership and oversight for HR Operations team, including
HR Business Partners, Generalists, and Administrators.
Design suitable and effective administrative system processes to
ensure proper workflow, approvals and compliance is maintained.
Proactively engage with senior management to gain an understanding
of all departments and lines of business to efficiently and
effectively assess and support their Human Resources needs.
Provide practical advice and guidance to enhance people programs,
staff engagement, performance, and overall experience in order to
meet current and future company goals and objectives.
Collaborate on various HR initiatives including Organizational
Development and Change Management, Compensation, Learning &
Development, and Diversity & Inclusion to provide ongoing support
and strategic HR leadership to coach and influence the business as
the company grows.
Provide leadership of projects in line with divisional requirements
and business needs.
Drive efficiency and effectiveness through the improvement of HR
processes, policies, and systems as required for the company' s
evolving business.
Senior Director of Human Resources Background Profile:
Bachelor' s degree in Human Resources or related field
Master' s degree is a plus
HR certification a plus
8+ years' progressive HR leadership experience, with a heavy
emphasis on HR Operations and Employee Relations
Healthcare service experience is a huge plus
The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas, have strong
operational experience, and change management experience.
Experience working with senior leadership teams, up to and
including C-level professionals on a routine basis is required
Demonstrated success with managing change in a company with rapid
growth and frequently changing priorities is required
Significant experience with leading employment investigations is
required.
Strong employment law experience is required - must be well-versed
in applicable federal, state and municipal labor and employment
law.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders
at all levels to make fair and consistent people decisions
Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office
applications and experience with large, complex HRIS systems
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the strong
ability to see the broad implications of decisions and use of
objective criteria to make effective assessments
Clear and engaging communication and presentation skills
Ability to create alignment between business goals, behaviors,
design and run people systems (technical and non-technical) that
drive performance.
High degree of diplomacy, discretion, and integrity--
Skillful at building consensus
