Responsible for driving the agenda for customer communications, setting the communication vision/roadmap, and working with internal teams to create experiences that lay the foundation for the way customers interact with Company. Maintains a master document of all communications and coordinates Servicing communication opportunities. Is exceptionally imaginative, collaborative, and truly passionate about building customer experiences and willing to go above and beyond to deliver experiences that make communicating with customers much easier.

Job Description

  • Partner with clients and partners across divisions to develop and lead the execution of communication strategies for cross-divisional and department initiatives
  • Set communication vision and lead road mapping, goal setting, story writing, prioritizing, project execution, A/B testing, and communication roll-out strategy
  • Relentlessly push to understand customer needs and ensure customer is considered in prioritization and trade-off discussion
  • Collaborate with internal partners. Exceptional at developing and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders and partners. Applies strong communication skills to influence communication decisions and inspire breakthrough results
  • Test and iterate in small-scale pilots to validate concepts, refine them to achieve communication-market fit, and then scale to drive vertical and horizontal economics
  • Set and maintain communication standards around content and style
  • Develop mitigating action plans to address identified project risks and gaps
  • Partner cross-functionally to align resource plans, delivery timelines, and business outcomes
  • Define and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success/failure
  • Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track communication performance, and drive decision making
  • Plan, organize, direct, and guide the activities of the team and provide effective management of staff
  • Serve as subject matter expert, contributing practitioner, thought leader, career guide and mentor to teams
  • Ensure projects and programs comply with company policies, standards and procedures through key monitoring routines
  • Contribute to the development of business unit goals and action plans to anticipate and support the needs of a growth-oriented company
  • Oversee performance measurement and develop and report on projects and portfolio metrics
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization 's desired culture and values Ideal Candidate will have the following:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Minimum 5+ years ' experience
    • Extensive applicable mortgage industry/financial services experience preferred
    • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff
    • Ability to effectively work closely with and influence business leaders and key decision makers
    • Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently and navigate through ambiguity to resolve issues within deadlines
    • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into customer communications
    • Experience building customer messaging at scale
    • Speaks and writes clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations
    • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work activities of a team, use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans
    • Excellent skills in MS Office Tools (Power Point, Visio, Word, Excel)
    • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
