Configuration Management Specialist: The Configuration Management Specialist is responsible for supporting engineering change management, aircraft variances, data management and program deliverables. This position will focus on tracking, marking and delivering all data to the customer including technical content and contract deliverables. As a CM Specialist I, this position will also support various IPTs within the Program in the proper execution of engineering changes including the development of Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Orders. Position Responsibilities: Review program deliverables to ensure proper data right and distribution statement marking. Track contract deliverable schedules to ensure on time delivery of SDRLs. Monitor Engineering releases and review for process compliance. Review all assigned program-related ECRs, ECOs, and provide specific direction to data owners that will prevent process or system issues and to ensure proper standards and quality are established and maintained. Analyze data to make recommendations that aid program and functional leadership to plan work, understand data flow, and reduce schedule impacts. Plan work and bring assignments to successful closure. Provide guidance and direction to Engineering Data Administration personnel. Manage supplier data deliverables for validation and proper data archiving. Support development of engineering Basis of Estimates (BOE) for new proposal efforts. Maintain metrics that measure the timeliness and accuracy of contract deliverables. Improve data and configuration management processes to ensure a streamlined, executable process is maintained. Qualifications Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Science is preferred. Position Requirements: All levels of experience will be considered with 0-2 years' professional experience minimum required. Must have high level Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel & Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat software. Must be capable of establishing and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external customers (USG, regulatory agencies, partners, OEMs, and suppliers). Must exhibit excellent organizational skills. Must possess strong proofreading skills and ability to edit detailed and highly complex content. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to understand technical content and government requirements. Must have strong communication skills. Experience in engineering drawing and part revision history is preferred. Experience reading and understanding project schedules is preferred. Experience in Share Point software is preferred. Experience in Enovia PLM software preferred. Bell will consider candidates nationally, however, this position does not offer relocation assistance.
