Summary: Our business is expanding and we re looking for a metrics-minded insurance risk manager who excels not only in compiling data-driven reports, but also using those findings to develop and implement strategies that successfully minimize loss and collateral damage. This position is responsible for providing strategic and financial leadership for the global risk management function including broker and carrier relations, insurance terms and conditions review and negotiations, risk premium allocations, budgeting and forecasting. Supports internal stakeholders in various capacities. This position reports to the CFO of the Wilks Brothers organization. This position will be in Fort Worth, Texas.   • Education Assistance Essential Responsibilities:
    • Understand risk exposure and insurance coverage needs across portfolio of companies.
    • Facilitate ongoing insurance renewals application and related data requests.
    • Provide direction to existing insurance brokers and hold them accountable for results.
    • Engage with business unit leaders to explain their insurance coverage, understand business priorities as it relates to risk management and anticipate future insurance needs based on business strategic plan.
    • Manage implementation of captive insurance program and ongoing captive insurance program maintenance.
    • Provide oversight for insurance compliance company wide.
    • Collaborate with in-house legal counsel to ensure appropriate risk mitigation via insurance and contracts.
    • Negotiate and manage all insurance renewals from application to actual procurement.
    • Advise Wilks Brothers management on insurance procurement and coverages under current policies, as well as answer general questions on insurance compliance issues regarding client properties.
    • Alert management to potential coverage gaps and areas of emerging need.
    • Educate and advise management on practical/real world risk mitigation strategies and best practices.
    • Track existing insurance policy expenses and negotiate with approved brokers for additional coverage.
    • Draft and present risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff.
    • Oversee intercompany cost of risk allocations for accounting and financial reporting
    • Execute administrative duties such as obtaining COI s from GC s, applications, and claims reporting and tracking. Required Education and Experience:
      • Bachelor s degree in Risk Management, Finance, or related field required
      • Minimum 10+ years of insurance risk management experience within large holding company structure, insurance brokerage, or other corporate entity with sizeable assets
      • Strong attention to detail
      • Excellent communication skills and experience conversing and interacting with internal and external stakeholders
      • Thorough knowledge of corporate insurance requirements including but not limited to Directors and Officers, Errors and Omissions, Construction, General Liability, and Property
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
      • Professional designation: Associate of Risk Management (ARM) and/or Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or willingness to obtain
      • Brokerage experience as an agent (property & casualty) and then transitioning into a corporate role is desirable
      • Previous experience with captive insurance company is helpful but not required Other Requirements:

        • Communication - verbal and written communication, personnel and vendors.
        • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
        • Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.
