POSITION OVERVIEW
Cultivate an inclusive culture that provides equitable opportunities and drives Associate and Customer
engagement. Lead all store Associates and direct activities required to achieve store goals which includes
financial objectives, customer service, people management, operational controls, asset protection and safety, and merchandise presentation.

BUSINESS DIRECTION/REVENUE GENERATION

* Develops a clear business strategy to achieve quantifiable performance results, grow sales and profits and maximize opportunities to generate additional store volume/revenue.
* Sets clear and measurable goals aligned with Brand strategy and priorities.
* Identifies, understands and responds to business trends as needed to maximize results and keeps team on track to goals.
* Drives revenue by proactively managing teams to embrace Brand service standards while effectively performing Store Leadership responsibilities.
* Models and directs customer service efforts that are consistent with Brand standards; coaches Associates on Customer interactions to increase transactions, capture Customer opportunities and achieve excellent Customer service.
* Demonstrates ability to manage complex and competing priorities.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

* Understands, models, and ensures associate commitment to Brand culture, policies and procedures and holds associates responsible for their actions.
* Recruits, attracts, selects, hires, retains, and develops talent. Proactively fills positions with qualified talent; creates and maintains a viable succession plan by developing internal bench strength.
* Provides coaching and issues disciplinary action, up to and including termination, in consultation with Manager and HR, as necessary.
* Delivers an engaging, personalized onboarding experience using Brand tools that positions an Associate for excellence in role and career progression.
* Supports and fosters a team that is diverse and inclusive; treats others fairly and with respect, valuing differences; builds relationships based on an individual approach.
* Conducts regular, effective performance discussions; sets clear objectives and holds associates accountable to goals. Provides proactive, timely feedback to associates, including rewarding and recognizing achievement to drive retention and engagement.
* Holds self and Associates accountable for achievement of financial results and statistical standards.
* Manages conflict and coaches by applying Brand's recommended processes, standards and guidelines. issues disciplinary action, up to and including termination, in consultation with Manager and HR, as necessary. ; receives feedback and fosters dialogue around solutions.
* Shares information, requests input, and communicates clearly and in an accessible manner with all levels to foster continuous learning.
* Adheres to and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws at all times.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

* Effectively prioritizes and controls workload through successful planning (i.e. daily, monthly, quarterly, etc.) and delegation.
* Leads and directs execution of tasks within designated timeframes while using tools and resources to drive a high level of productivity.
* Approves and adjusts schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency.
* Reports to work as scheduled; records all time worked accurately by using Brand's Time and Attendance system; remains flexible to the needs of the business.
* Ensures compliance with Asset Protection policies and practices to protect company assets and promote health and safety within store. Accountable for shrink results and safety awareness.
* Drives operational excellence and consistently executes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Manages controllable expenses.

PRODUCT/BRAND MANAGEMENT

* Leads execution of visual merchandising updates and product placement within Brand guidelines and maintains visual expectations as defined by Brand's visual merchandising standards.
* Uses product knowledge tools to execute directives and interpret Store Sets.
* Brings to life Brand initiatives within the physical store layout.
* Initiates continuous product movement based on Brand directives, client profile, and store sales.
* Aligns and integrates strategic activity on the floor.
* Understands and can clearly articulate Brand positioning and recognizes Brand's competitors within the retail landscape.
* Relying on own knowledge and prior retail experience, educates associates on marketing initiatives, product placement, lifestyle concepts, and product knowledge.
* Embraces fashion, understands current market trends and is able to articulate them using Brand interpretations in every customer interaction. Represents Brand by adhering to Brand's dress code guidelines.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

* Proven ability to recruit, select, develop, and retain full store team and hold individuals accountable for performance.
* Proven ability to foster team commitment and create a positive, inclusive working environment.
* Proven ability to respectfully challenge and motivate the Management team and Associates.
* Demonstrated ability to function as a role model, ensuring that the customer remains the top priority.
* Demonstrated ability to organize, delegate, prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow-up on all store activities
* Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement.
* Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to get the job done.
* Ability to forecast and analyze business trends act on findings, and manage payroll expense to maximize store performance; proven ability to deliver sales results.
* Ability to take initiative in making decisions on a timely/urgent basis.
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines as assigned with minimal supervision and within designated timeframes.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts. Must have open availability.
* 5+ years of Supervisory/Management experience in the retail industry preferred with 2 of those years in a Store Manager position.
* Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, office, lift up to 30 lbs, and retrieve and stock merchandise with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,500.00 per year
