PROJECT MANAGER - IT PROJECTSContract - 5 -6 monthsHybrid - Hurst, TXPreference is for a US Citizen or Permanent ResidentOur client is embarking on -new projects -that involve the -critical key competencies in managing resources, budgets, and project delivery timelines, as well as the procurement of assets and project documentation.This is a great opportunity for someone who has a well-rounded experience in small to large projects and able to adapt to a variety -of little project items and changing project circumstances.Key Responsibilities

• Develops and documents various small project plans by:
  • Confirming the definition of the project scope and requirements
  • Preparing the specification documents through liaison with project sponsors.
  • Gathering, documenting, -and facilitating business requirements.
  • Managing project resources by:
    • Onboarding resources to project processes
    • Scheduling resources and identifying project timelines
    • Tracking activities and roadmaps to project delivery date
    • Identifies and manages -project risks and escalating these timely to project stakeholders.
    • Managing the procurement of hardware infrastructure and software applications as required by the project:
      • Ensures that project users have the necessary permissions and access.
      • Coordinates and conducts meetings between vendors and internal stakeholders.
      • Prepares all necessary project documentation and status reports.
      • Coordinates all other project activities and tasks with project stakeholders.
      • Manages a variety of little project items and changing project circumstances.Qualifications and Experience
        • 5 -10 years of project management experience in handling simultaneous small to large IT projects
        • Displays excellent rapport with people resources and can effectively influence the timeliness of project delivery.
        • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
