Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic recommendations for the direction of the Product Management and Development team. Develop profound understanding of RingCentral's core products including user acquisition, onboarding, adoption, and retention.
• Drive the Product Analytics team to inform business and product strategy by defining and instrumenting core metrics for each product initiative.
• Define architectural requirements for the Data Engineering team on data processing and storage to facilitate effective analysis and reporting.
• Own key metric dashboards that are consumed by product managers, business leaders and executives. Provides guidance and support to business leaders and stakeholders on how best to harness available insights in support of critical business needs, goals and decisions..
• Lead the process of exploring and analyzing user behavior, product use and performance data. Perform data deep dive across a variety of data sets and platforms to drive actionable insights.
• Drive strategic cross-department partnerships with Product Management, Design, Engineering, Marketing and Support to implement data initiatives that positively impact user experience and improve product adoption.
• Initiate and drive change in process through influencing and collaborating with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders.
• Build a high performing organization that leans into the future skills of analytics capabilities and solutions to actively develop the next layer of leaders to help identify and drive forward future business opportunities. Engages in boundaryless leadership across the company. Prioritizes the team's work to maximize effectiveness and impact both at the individual and team level.
• Evangelize data-driven culture across the organization.
• Collaborate with other analytics teams on the full cycle of iterative big data exploration, including hypothesis formulation, algorithm development, data cleansing, testing, insight generation/visualization, and action planning. Pursue full-stack data quality, troubleshoots data validation, and sees issues to resolution.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in STEM and 15+ years work experience in data analysis
  • Exceptional SQL skills.10+ years SQL experience
  • Knowledge of advanced statistics and analytical concepts
  • 5+ years of experience in Tableau, Mixpanel or other data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication skills. Able to tell complicated technical content and analytical insights in simple way to multiple audiences including executivesPreferred Qualifications:
    • Work experience in SaaS tech, finance, consulting or related industry
    • 5+ years of experience in Python or R
