DeSoto & Ft. WorthMust have current RN License Responsibilities
POSITPOSITION SUMMARY: The Regional Director of Operations will be
responsible for supporting operations delivery in area of program
oversight, implementation, and adherence to company policies and
processes, as well as federal and state regulatory requirements. In
addition the Regional Director of Operations will support and
assist the Vice President and General Manager (VP/GM), as
needed.--Regional Director of Operations - Home Health
Responsibilities: Administrator, Executive, Area, Territory,
Manager, Nurse, RN, PT, Physical Therapy, Sales
- Direct, develop, train, and communicate with staff personnel.
Discuss progress, provide general direction, and work with staff on
actual situations, providing insight into the handling of
problems.
- Oversee the work of Executive Directors and Regional
Staff.
- Provides leadership and support to locations within his/her
assigned area of responsibility.
- Assists, as directed, with the onboarding of agency managers
including clinical supervisors, EDs, clinical staff and others as
needed
- Provides direction and guidance in the oversight,
implementation, and adherence to internal policies and
procedures.
- Provides assistance in the review and analysis of financial,
clinical, and operational performance indicators and works
collaboratively with the ED on the development and implementation
of action plans; provides feedback to the VP/GM and local
management team.
- Maintains current knowledge of program policy, service and
license compliance requirements for agency program.
- Responsible for filling in as an onsite manager at an agency in
the event the position is vacant as necessary.
- Participates in the evaluation of agency performance through
the annual evaluation process, quality assurance and performance
program and periodic review of operations.
- Partners with the local leaders to assist in the hiring of a
competent workforce, as needed.
- Supports and communicates the organization's goals, priorities,
and professional standards.
- Utilizes the company's software platform other technology tools
to review & trend location results.
- Works with local leaders to ensure they understand the meaning
of the data elements and how they have an impact on results.
QualificationsRegional Director of Operations - Home Health
Qualifications:------EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
-
- Bachelor's degree preferred in a health or human services field
and a minimum of 3-5 years agency operations and clinical
management experience, with a minimum of 2 years' management
experience in home health, hospice, or other post-acute care
environment.
- Or have the equivalent training and experience in health
service administration and at least two (2) years of full-time
supervisory or administrative experience in home health care,
hospice or related health programs.
- RN license and graduate from an approved nursing school with a
current license, is highly preferred, but exceptions may occur
based on the needs of the business operations and structure within
that market or region
- Valid drivers' license and current auto liability
insurance.--KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES:--
- Possess proven executive management, organizational, and
administrative skills.
- Possess in depth knowledge of Federal, State Regulations and
requirements that regulate home health agency functions.
- Possess knowledge of federal and state resources available for
