Job Description:
Analyzes, proposes, designs, and implements solutions to
continuously improve the customer experience. Automates the entire
software delivery value stream in support of rapidly expanding
product portfolios. Architects and leads project teams that create
tools and infrastructure to improve the associate development
experience. Monitors, validates, and audits the quality of
production releases. Primary Responsibilities: Improves the associate developer experience for application
teams. Guides a DevSecOps team in creating solutions for business and
technical partners. Partners with squad leaders and architects to establish the
standards for the chapter, influencing the strategic decisions and
solution development. Promotes a DevOps culture including, building relationships with
technical and business team members. Measures performance through established Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs). Assists customers in re-architecting, refactoring, and
transforming applications to migrate into the Cloud. Supports, coaches, and mentors team members as a leader and
expert. Enables an Agile and frictionless organization by modeling Agile
behaviors. Deploys changes to customers while minimizing risk, using A/B
tests, blue-green deployments, CI/CD, and feature toggle
practices. Creates standards and processes to monitor and improve delivery
times. Defines DevOps processes for deploying applications in the
Cloud. Creates standards for highly scalable and available
applications. Develops and directs software system testing, validation
procedures, and programming and documentation. Measures, collects, and uses data to make decisions. Creates automation scripts to collect data to display and
analyze data. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years
of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience
creating Web applications within a continuous integration,
deployment, and delivery environment. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered
or four (4) years of experience creating Web applications within a
continuous integration, deployment, and delivery environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing full stack development --
building Web applications and highly scalable Web services, using
JavaScript, HTML, and CSS technologies for front-end (NodeJS,
Spring, and Dropwizard) and back-end applications -- within SQL and
NoSQL databases, including MySQL, Postgres, MongoDb, and RDS. DE performing test automation, using Junit, Selenium, Mocha, and
Cucumber; implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
(CI/CD) testing practices, using Git stash, uDeploy, and Jenkins;
and creating and maintaining automated pipelines to drive
application code changes throughout the Software Development
Lifecycle (SDLC). DE creating complex automation solutions, using Python, Groovy,
and Bash for collecting, analyzing, monitoring, and visualizing
data to drive data driven decisions. DE designing and developing enterprise Cloud-based solutions
using Amazon Cloud Computing Services -- ECS, EC2, and IAM;
performing serverless software development written in NodeJS, Java,
or AWS SDK; and configuring VPC and Route 53 to setup networking
