The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Department of Family Medicine of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM), is seeking physicians--- board certified in Family Medicine to become faculty with its growing Department. TCOM, the only osteopathic school in Texas, is a leader in comprehensive primary care and rural medicine and consistently named one of the nation---s top 50 medical schools for primary care and recognized in curricular innovation and academic performance.

Responsibilities:
oTeaching and mentoring of medical students
oResident supervision with our AOA/ACGME approved Family Medicine Residency Program
oAmbulatory patient care in a medical home model
oResearch and academic scholarly activity encouraged with protected academic time
oMinimal call, rotates every-other 2 weeks, average patients a day is 20
Qualifications:
oDO/MD degree from an accredited college
oAbility to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical license
oMust possess excellent communication, clinical, and leadership skills
oBilingual Spanish/English or other foreign language is a plus
oBoard certification in Family Medicine is required
oAcademic experience is preferred but not mandatory
