RN II General Surgical - Fort Worth, TXRegistered Nurse (RN) General Surgical-- Texas Health Resources is looking for top skilled Registered Nurses.-- Is that you? **Sign-On for Eligible New Hires** -- Work location:--Texas Health----Fort Worth,--1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours:--Full Time Nights (7P-7A) for 36 hrs/week. Some weekend and holiday requirements Work--environment:--General Surgical -- Here's What You Need

  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
  • BSN preferred
  • One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
  • --RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care -- What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
    • Assesses the patient
    • Plans the care of the patient
    • Intervenes as appropriate
    • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
    • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
    • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
    • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers. -- Additional perks of being a Texas Health Nurse

        • Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
        • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
        • Current BLS (required) - expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.
        • CPI training within 60 days of hire (required)
        • One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program (required) In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will
