Job Description:
RN Clinical EducatorJob Summary: Responsible for developing,
conducting, and evaluating in-service programs with direction from
the director. Orientation and continuing education for nurses,
students, and other staff in specific clinical areas. Can provide
input on educational policies and procedures. Serves as a resource
person to staff and management. Participates in Quality Assurance
and Process Improvement (QAPI) performance activities; serves on
special committees as needed. Qualifications/Reporting: Required
minimum education: Graduate of a Professional Nursing School.
Bachelor#s in nursing preferred or willing to obtain within 3
years. Required minimum experience: Minimum 5 years of acute care
experience in ER and/or ICU Required skills (if applicable): Able
to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
Basic Computer knowledge. Ability to operate equipment: projectors,
audiovisual equipment, cameras, and other equipment used in
instruction and patient care. Excellent Presentation Skills.
Proficient knowledge in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,
scheduling/hosting events, and video editing (not required but is a
plus). Physical requirements: For physical demands of the position,
including but not limited to, vision, hearing, repetitive motion,
and environment, see the following description. *Reasonable

compromising patient care. May require lifting, bending, stooping,
and squatting. Required license/certification: Current State
Registered Nurse license. Certification as an instructor in BLS
