Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am Sign-on bonus for eligible RN's (eligible upon hire with a signed 2-year retention agreement) Department highlights:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
  • BCLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS - within 90 days of hire required
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - within 60 days of hire
  • NIHSS - within 6 months of hire required
  • 1-year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • ICU/PCU, ED, Tele and Med/Surge experience preferred--
  • RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care
  • The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs.
  • The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient's affiliations In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will
