Nurse (RN)--Surgical Unit Texas Health Resources is looking for top

-- Work location:--Texas Health----Fort Worth,--1301 Pennsylvania
Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours:--Full Time Days (7P-7A) for
36 hrs/week.--Weekend and holiday requirements-- Work--environment:
Post surgical unit-hip fractures, head injuries, chest tubes,
trachs, pelvic and femur fractures.-- This is a great opportunity

- Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
- BSN preferred
- One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN
residency program.
- One year of Emergency experience strongly preferred
- --RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse
Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary
collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care -- What You
Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures
into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need
for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift,
inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers. --

- Associates Degree in Nursing (required)
- BSN preferred
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the
Texas Board of Nursing upon hire (required)
- Current BLS (required) - expiration date greater than 3 months
preferred.
- CPI training within 60 days of hire (required)
- One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of
an RN residency program (required) In addition to the required
qualifications, a successful RN will have
- 2+ years experience as an Med/surg RN --including charge
/preceptor skills (preferred)
- Current RN experience in Tele/PCU or Trauma (preferred)
