Position Highlights

Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104/ Justin Tower Work environment: Neurosurgery Department(29 bed) .-- Patients are admitted to this floor for Neurosurgical, elective spine, cervical and lumbar surgeries, Brain tumor patients, cranial hemorrhage patients just out of ICU and back up stroke unit- this unit may also have some remote tele patients. Work hours: Full-time, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm; 36 hours per week/ 3 days per week Sign On Bonus--For Eligible New Hires with signed retention agreement -- Texas Health Fort Worth is a 726-bed full-service facility that includes cardiovascular care, high risk obstetrics, gynecology, neurosciences, orthopedic sports medicine and emergency medicine.-- The hospital is Magnet-designated, Accredited Cycle III Chest Pain Center and Emergency Center of Excellence and --A Comprehensive Stroke Center. #cb Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required) Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire Current BLS (required) - expiration date greater than 3 months preferred. CPI training within 60 days of hire (required) One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program (required) 2+ years of strong Med/surg or Neuro RN experience in acute care setting including charge/preceptor skills (preferred) -- In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will
