Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery/LDRP Setting -
Stephenville, TXRegistered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery Fast-paced,
high volume Emergency department is looking for top skilled
nurses.-- Is that you? **Sign-On for Eligible New Hires** -- Work
location: Texas Health Stephenville -411 N. Belknap Street,
Stephenville, TX 76104 Work hours: Full Time Nights (7P-7A) for 36
hrs/week.--Weekend and holiday requirements -- Labor & Delivery
Department highlights:
Up to 35 deliveries a month Catch
babies and recover both mom and baby Fast-Paced, high-volume
department averaging 200 patients/day Ability to triage, labor,
deliver, and recover patients, as well as provide couplet care and
breastfeeding education for both mother and baby The professional
nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient's
affiliations. Here's What You Need
Associate degree from an accredited
Nursing program req, BSN preferred One-year experience as a
clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program. One year
or more year of RN experience in Labor & Deliver/L&D as well as
Mother/Baby and Neonatal ICU strongly preferred BCLS - Basic
Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care
and maintained quarterly, req ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
required within 60 days of hire AWHONN - Advanced Fetal Monitoring
EFM - required within 18 months of hire -- What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process from the
admission to the discharge process in
Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP)
Assesses the patient Plans the care
of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the
effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific
safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates
action to meet patient and/or significant others need for
information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift,
inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers. --
