OncologyStandard Weekly Hours:40Summary:Cook Children's Medical
Center and Healthcare System, based in Fort Worth, TX, has an
excellent opportunity for a full-time Pediatric Oncologist to join
our growing Hematology and Oncology Center as a member of the
Oncology Team. Our division consists of 16 physicians and 12 nurse
practitioners throughout our Oncology, Neuroblastoma,
Neuro-oncology, Hematology and Stroke/Thrombosis Teams. Our
providers, as well as dedicated multi-disciplinary staff, see over
240 new cancer cases annually, and oversee comprehensive
subspecialty programs in CAR-T cell/Immunotherapy, Vascular
Anomalies, Genetic Oncology, Precision Medicine, and
Adolescent/Young Adult Oncology. We have a very active outpatient
practice and serve an expansive referral area including the Fort
Worth Metro area, North Texas as well as East, Central and West
Texas and the surrounding states. Our center is an active member of
the Children's Oncology Group (COG) and has active collaborations
with multiple academic institutions, Phase I consortia and
pharmaceutical companies. We are seeking an energetic BC/BE
Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with an interest in General
Oncology. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a
patient-focused practice with a high level of independence and
opportunities for professional growth. Involvement in program
development will be highly encouraged and supported.
Qualifications: --- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of
Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required. --- American Heart
Association BLS and PALS. --- Unrestricted Texas Medical license
(must obtain prior to start date). --- Must have successfully
completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education
(ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency
for pediatrics. --- Board certified/ board eligible in Pediatric
Hematology/Oncology. Cook Children's offers competitive
