Our Inpatient Unit is the newest project at Medical City Healthcare Fort Worth and is now open. This 18-bed comprehensive acute inpatient rehabilitation unit enhances and expands Medical City Healthcare existing inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation services, which include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology and wound care services. Stroke and neurological rehabilitation will be particular focuses for the inpatient rehab unit. Medical City Healthcare is the only designated comprehensive stroke center in Fort Worth and the only Fort Worth hospital affiliated with the Texas Stroke Institute. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Registered Nurse Texas State License or Compact State License required Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree 1-2yrs acute hospital inpatient rehab experience or medical surgical nursing experience required.
