Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder Complex Phys Pract General
Medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze medical records and accurately code diagnostic and
procedural information
Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes into electronic
medical records
Provide quality assurance for medical records and ensure compliance
with coding regulations
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training in
medical record keeping
Active certification as a CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT
Three or more years of complex professional coding experience
Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting utilizing coding
software
