Job Description:

Title: Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care (PCU/IMC) Specialty: PCU/IMC Job Type: Permanent Shift: 12 Hours, Nights Location: Fort Worth, TX Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU/IMC setting, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention. Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and oxygenation levels, and intervene as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and interventions. Requirements: Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing (required); BSN preferred. Current RN licensure is in Texas. Previous experience in PCU/IMC nursing preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
