Labor & Delivery RN Job Details - Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Location: Weatherford, TX 76086 (Parker County) - Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit - Nursing Shift: 12-hour days (7A-7P), rotating weekends - Hours per Week: 36 - On-Site Position - Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250 Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License (no temporary licenses) - BLS and NRP certifications required - Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience in a hospital setting - Proficiency in recovery, immediate newborn care, golden hour baby care, and PACU for c-sections - Ability to circulate c-sections - Strong communication skills and dedication to patient-centered healthcare - Experience with Meditech documentation preferred - Availability to work every other weekend Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery - Provide immediate newborn care, including golden hour baby care - Assist and circulate during c-sections and PACU recovery - Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech/CPN systems - Adhere to hospital policies for dress code, hygiene, and professionalism - Participate in bedside shift reports and ensure a positive patient experience - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Experience the perfect blend of small-town charm and modern amenities in Weatherford, Texas.
