Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Fort Worth, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work varied day shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM OR Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM /n• 36 guaranteed hours per week /n• Call requirements include one weekday per week and one weekend per month (Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM) /n• Must have strong neuro experience and 2 years OR experience in acute care setting /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification /n• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted) /n• Must have neurosurgery experience and 2 years hospital/specialty experience /n• Robotic experience and Meditech documentation system experience preferred /n• Perform high volume of general and neuro surgery including craniotomies, orthopedic, robotic procedures, urology, plastic surgery, heart and transplant procedures /n• Work with advanced equipment including DaVinci XI, Globus and Mako robots, microscopes, and standard OR equipment /n• OR nursing with 1:1 patient ratios /n• 1-2 surgical techs per case for support /n• Facility provides scrubs /n• Must maintain clean, healthy nails (no gel or artificial nails beyond fingertips) /n• Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors /n• Body art should be covered when possible, visible piercings other than ears prohibited /n• Floating as needed based on unit requirements /n/n Facility: /n This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 17-bed surgical unit that includes cardiovascular OR and transplant capabilities.
