Job Description:
Are you an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician searching for
your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of
VISTA's healthcare partners in Texas might be the perfect fit for
you! Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Locums coverage beginning in
October for most weekends. Expect 9-10 call days per month starting
at noon on Friday until 7am Monday Job Setting: Hospital System -
Community Health Systems, 8 beds in department, Trauma Level 4
Types of Cases: 2-4 patient encounters per shift. Low risk
pregnancy, high risk pregnancy (preferred), FHR interpretation, OB
Ultrasounds (Level I/Screening required, Level II preferred),
amniocentesis, routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps,
decision-making for c-section), complicated delivery (c-section,
breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs), repair of 3rd & 4th
degree lacerations, surgical gynecology (open preferred,
laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major) Credentialing:
30-45 days Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible:
Board Certified required Certifications: BLS Licensure: TX license
