Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Fort Worth, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,101 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN Circulator Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 06:30-17:00 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current RN license Certifications: None required Must-Have: RN Circulator who can position patients on hospital beds, prep, position for surgery, and monitor all equipment. CST who can perform ortho, plastics, and podiatry procedures. Description: On-call requirements consist of 5 days a month with one weekend. The unit has 7 beds and a staff of 3. During the day shift, there is 1 RN and 2 CSTs. The night shift has no assigned staff. Patient ratios are 4 to 5 cases per team. No specific type of equipment is utilized on the unit. Electronics Medical Record system is not applicable. The on-call requirement is for 4 to 5 call days. Staff may float between Surgical Hospital locations. Typical procedures performed include total joints, hip replacements, tibia and fibula surgeries, ankles and feet surgeries, mid-foot joints, breast reduction and expansions, and robotic surgeries. Preferred candidates have at least 3 years of experience for both circulators and CSTs. A positive demeanor, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to take trauma call are desirable traits.
