Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Fort Worth, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,563 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Fort Worth, Texas, 76104! Job Title: RN - CVICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00-07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of critical care experience License: RN License Certifications: Required certifications as per unit guidelines Must-Have: - 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty) - Ventilator experience - Arterial/Central line/Chest tube management skills Description: Travel RN position in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The unit has 16 beds with a staff of 45 RNs. The patient-nurse ratio is 2:1, ensuring personalized care. Both day and night shifts maintain a similar staffing structure. Common types of equipment include GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT, Impella, Swan Ganz, arterial lines, chest tubes, vents. Electronic Medical Record system used in this unit is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include hemodynamic monitoring, arterial line placements, and chest tube management. Ideal candidates will be team players and work well in a collaborative care environment. Floating to other critical care units may be required as part of the role.
