Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking a Ultrasound Technologist for a job in Fort Worth, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Staff Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Radiology-Ultrasound Shift: Third Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: This position is responsible for performing quality ultrasound examinations at the direction of a Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP). Sonographer utilizes application of advanced clinical and technical knowledge to provide safe quality procedures aligned with Cook Children's values and Our Promise. This position is accountable for providing direct patient care and maintaining expertise for all ages spanning from neonatal/newborn to young adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.
