Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Fort Worth, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - CVICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work in a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit on 3rd floor /n• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio (2 patients per 1 RN) /n• Both day and night shifts have 1 CNC and 2:1 nurse to patient ratio /n• Required to work 2 weekend shifts biweekly /n• No on-call responsibilities /n• Float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac PCU as needed /n• Must have 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty) /n• Ventilator experience and Art/Central line/Chest tube management skills required /n• CVICU specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella experience preferred /n• BSN and CCRN certification preferred /n• Work with equipment including GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz, Art lines, chest tubes, and ventilators /n• Use Meditech EMR system (experience preferred) /n• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, Art lines, and chest tube procedures /n• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs /n• Must be a team player who works well with collaborative care /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a specialized 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit staffed by 45 all-RN professionals.
