Medical Assistant Location: Fort Worth, TX Agency: Pride Health Pay: $20 to $23 per hour Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility based in Fort Worth, TX 76107. This is a 3 month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Details: Job Name: Medical Assistant Location: Fort Worth, TX 76107 Duration: 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension) Payrate: $20-23/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience. Schedule: Mon – Fri (5 days/wk.)/ 8 am to 5 pm (40 hrs./wk.) Job Responsibilities: Performs all duties within the scope of Medical Assistant practice in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO). Rooms patients per established protocols, prepares patients for examinations, and assists with coordination of care as directed by physicians. Operates diagnostic equipment (without interpretation), performs EKGs, and completes quality control checks on clinical equipment. Administers non-intravenous medications; performs venipuncture and capillary blood collection; and collects specimens using noninvasive techniques. Provides wound care, including removal of superficial staples, dressing changes, and obtaining cultures as ordered. Accurately and timely documents patient care and clinical activities in the medical record. Prepares, cleans, stocks, and organizes exam and treatment rooms; sterilizes instruments using an autoclave and follows standard infection control precautions. Conducts telephone and in-person intake screening limited to information gathering without exercising independent clinical judgment. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times, demonstrates courteous and respectful patient interactions, and performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Highschool/GED or equivalent. Current, Medical Assistant Certification. 1 year of relevant Medical Assistant experience preferred.
