Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Overall PCU experience - BLS/ACLS certification Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit. The unit has a capacity of 16 beds. Staffing includes 42 personnel with a charge nurse, RNs, and patient care technicians on each shift. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1. The unit utilizes a collaborative EMR system. Floating to other PCUs and telemetry is required. The ideal candidate will be collaborative and a team player. Candidates with PCU experience will be prioritized. The unit has a supportive environment with opportunities to work with new equipment and technology.
