Registered Nurse (RN) Research / Clinical Research for a nursing

Summary: The Research Nurse Coordinator will serve as the primary
clinical research lead embedded within multidisciplinary pediatric
specialty clinics focused on genetic epilepsies and
neurodevelopmental disorders. This role coordinates all research
workflows associated with specialty clinic visits, including
pre-visit preparation, research consent, protocol-driven
assessments, and post-visit follow-up. The assessments conducted
within this program are exceptional in depth and breadth,
reflecting a cutting-edge model that tightly integrates advanced
clinical care with high-impact translational research. Advanced
deep-phenotyping activities (e.g., neurophysiology, specialized
neurological and digital assessments) are performed in close
collaboration with academic research teams, who provide ongoing
training and shared execution, making this position highly academic
in nature and requiring continuous learning as novel methods are
introduced. The Research Nurse leads research data capture,
wearable deployment, remote assessments, and documentation while
ensuring full compliance with IRB, sponsor, and institutional
requirements. Serving as the central operational link between
families, clinicians, and researchers, this role enables seamless
coordination of complex research activities alongside clinical
care. The position is both intellectually stimulating and deeply
fulfilling, as many families travel long distances to participate
in this uniquely comprehensive program due to its unmatched scope
in care and research. Education & Experience: - Associate's Degree
plus RN required - Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
with 2 years research experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience from which comparable knowledge and
abilities can be acquired (i.e. BSN and RN plus 3 years of nursing
experience) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Excellent oral and
written communication skills - Detail-oriented and excellent
organizational skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and
basic knowledge in data entry (i.e. Excel) Certification/Licensure:
- Maintains licensure/certification as appropriate to clinical
