Job Description Job Description Director of Progressive Care (PCU) Fort Worth, TX | Senior Nursing Leadership Strong Force Staffing – Clinical Search Partner Building Stronger Clinical Teams for a Stronger Tomorrow This is a senior leadership role overseeing multiple high-volume inpatient units , including two PCUs, Oncology/Blood Cancer, and Renal Transplant services. The units run full and require a director who understands throughput, staffing pressure, and accountability at scale. This position reports directly to the VP of Nursing Operations and carries true operational authority. Scope of Responsibility Oversight of 78 inpatient beds Leadership of approximately 200 FTEs Full operational, quality, and financial accountability Drives patient experience, staff engagement, and clinical outcomes Required Experience 2 years of recent PCU acute care leadership BSN required; MSN preferred Active Texas RN or compact license BLS & ACLS required Compensation Salary Range: $95,004 – $142,506 (based on leadership experience) Sign-on and relocation considered case by case Comprehensive benefits and retirement plan This role is best suited for a director who thrives in complexity and wants long-term impact—not a placeholder title.
